“Change is the one unavoidable, irresistible, ongoing reality of the universe”
- Octavia Butler
As LGBTQ+ people, we build our relationships, families, and communities with intention, creativity, and resilience.
Life transitions, however deeply desired, can cause us to confront unexpected challenges.
At the core of my practice is my unwavering belief in our individual and collective potential for change and capacity to heal. As a therapist, I see myself as a partner in your work to reconnect to yourself, to make meaning of and integrate your experiences, and to create space for you to find presence and peace in your life. My style is direct, collaborative, compassionate, and values-driven. I work to practice humility and grace with myself, and to create space for learning, growth, joy, and connection in our relationship.
My therapy practice focuses on three distinct but overlapping practice areas:
Individual Therapy
Reproductive & Perinatal Mental Health
Couples & Relationship Therapy
Emotion-Focused and Gottman Method Couples Therapy
Parenthood Counseling
Transition to Parenthood for Parents & Partners
While I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and families, I welcome the opportunity to work with anyone who may benefit from a feminist, trauma-informed, mindfulness-focused, intersectional approach to therapy.
